    FAQ

Will my service be affected by weather?

No. Our network is designed with weather in mind and you will not lose connectivity due to rain.

    Is interference a problem?

Our towers are interconnected by licensed frequencies which are protected by federal regulations. For residential best-effort customers our network utilizes a micro-cell approach on unlicensed frequencies as the "last-mile" service delivery. There's over a dozen channels available, and your radio will always select the best one.

Licensed frequencies are available for our business class service at an additional charge.

Will wiFitz become unusable at primetime like some other providers?

No. We constantly monitor our network and will address any bottlenecks as they occur. We also don't extort content providers and will not throttle connections to popular services, unlike cable companies that have a conflict of interest.

    How reliable is the service?

Our service is architected to be more reliable than a typical wired ISP. If you're interested in the details, check out our
    network architecture.

Is this cellular service? [Can I use this service in multiple places like my cellular phone?]

NO. WiFitz internet services uses fixed wireless technology. The dish must remain affixed to your home and will not function elsewhere.

What can I do with these upstream speeds?

Your upstream speeds allow you to be more than a passive consumer and open the door to a multitude of things you haven't been able to do before. Want to video chat? You'll show up in crystal clear HD. Backup ALL of your critical data to the cloud in a snap. Perhaps you want to gain access to your media from afar? You can do that. Devices such as a Slingbox work wonderfully with the abundant upstream.

Use your imagination! Perhaps a video blog now that you have fast enough Internet to create one?
